What personal information about users is captured by AG?

The information we receive from users helps us to personalize and continuously improve your experience with AG. These are the types of information we collect.

Information you provide us: We receive and store all the information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. Click here to see examples of what we collect. You may choose not to provide certain information, but you may not be able to use many of our functions. We use the information you provide to answer your questions, personalize your future browsing, improve our website and communicate with you.
Automatic information: We receive and store certain types of information when you interact with us. For example, like many other websites, we use “cookies” and receive certain types of information when your web browser accesses AG or advertising and other content provided by or on behalf of AG on other websites. Click here to see examples of the information we receive.
Email communication: To make emails more useful and interesting, we often receive confirmation when you open AG emails when your computer supports such functions. We also compare our user list with other company lists to avoid sending unnecessary messages to our users. If you do not wish to receive emails or other emails from us, use our User Administration pages to customize your settings.
Mobile: When you download or use applications created by AG, we may receive information about your location and mobile device, including a unique identifier for your device. We may use this information to provide you with location-based services, such as advertising, local airtime, search results and other personalized content. You can disable location services on most mobile devices. More information can be found here.
Information from other sources: We may receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information. Click here to see examples of the information we receive.

What about cookies?

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser so that our systems can recognize your browser and provide functions such as the watch list, local usage time and browser settings.
The Help menu in most browsers shows you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how you should be notified by the browser when you receive a new cookie or how to disable them completely. In addition, you can disable or delete similar data used by browser add-ons, such as Flash cookies, by modifying the add-on’s settings or by visiting the manufacturer’s website. Since you can take full advantage of some of the most important features of AG with cookies, we recommend that you enable them.
We use web beacons (also known as “action tags” or “single pixel gifs”) and other technologies to measure the effectiveness of certain website features and conduct research and analysis. We also allow third parties to place web beacons and other technologies on our website for research and analysis, but we do not share personally identifiable information with these third parties.
